Sapheos tools are named after philosophers because each tool represents a non-negotiable function of academic judgment, not a gadget.

Good assessment means evaluating reasoning: making it visible, checking where it comes from, testing its structure, and verifying its sources.

• Socrates: makes reasoning explicit
• Diotima: establishes authorship and authenticity
• Euclid: validates structure and standards
• Aristotle: assesses applied judgment
• Parmenides: verifies references

Generative AI did not change these requirements.
It made their absence visible.
